The People’s Institute for Survival and Beyond is a multi-racial and multi-generational collective of anti-racist community organizers committed to sustaining an effective anti-racist movement. Founded in 1980 by Ronald Chisom and Dr. Jim Dunn, the organization’s national office is based in New Orleans, Louisiana. (Learn More)
The People’s Institute Northwest supports the regional Undoing Racism organizing network in the Pacific Northwest. Guided by the Undoing Racism Principles, organizers provide technical assistance, host monthly network meetings, plan and coordinate base-building gatherings and events, and organize regional community Undoing Racism workshops in Washington and Oregon. We work toward a vision for a society in which all people thrive by networking with individual and organizations working to undo racism.
